Since Donna is in Illinois with Debbie she asked me to update you all on her sister. This last week has been a little bit better for Debbie. She has still felt nauseated but has had some appetite. Yesterday they gave her what they said will be her last chemo pills. Today she may be getting some fresh blood since her counts are still really low. They are telling her that next Wednesday or Thursday they will do a bone marrow biopsy and that she will probably need to stay for another one or two weeks. Donna will be flying home Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. We still don’t know who will come out next to be with Debbie in Illinois.
REMINDER: Mendie is putting together a fundraiser on October 9th. I will follow with more information as I receive it. Thanks again for all your prayers and best wishes. The cards & letters have been very good for her.
